New Media Press Assistant - Republican House member seeks a New Media Press Assistant.  The individual (working under the communications director) will be responsible for developing and growing the Congressman’s new media presence and online outreach efforts.  This position will manage (and develop content for) the member’s website, Twitter, Facebook and Flickr pages.  They will also be responsible for drafting a bi-weekly e-newsletter, as well as letters to the editor and weekly columns.  In addition to managing day-to-day new media operations the person will be responsible for developing an aggressive and proactive new media plan using cutting edge tools and techniques.  The New Media Press Assistant will also support the communications director in all media related activities.
